This project is for adults and families, and aims to reduce health inequalities in some of the most disadvantaged areas of East Leeds. It is commissioned by the Public Health directorate within Leeds City Council and we work to reduce early deaths from preventable disease
as well as improve the wellbeing of people living in our target neighbourhoods. Our main focus at the moment is work in the Meanwood area, but we also run community development, physical activity, cooking, health campaigns and social/wellbeing activities in Halton Moor, Osmondthorpe, Richmond Hill and some areas of Moortown / Moor Allerton. See our latest newsletter for information, or call 0113 240 6677 to find out what's on in your area.

Other funders who support this work include Community First, LCC’s Area Wellbeing Fund, Police Proceeds of Crime, The Quakers, Local Councillors, Lloyds Banking Group and Jimbo’s Fund.
Our partners include Job Centre Plus and Lloyds Pharmacies.
